I'm a mom of two young men. One is a Fine Arts college student and one an upcoming college student. I'm a native of the Philippines who ended up living in the midwestern state of Iowa half of my life when my job as a traveling physical therapist brought me here. It's here where I met a truly remarkable man, with midwestern values who later gave me the ability to join a wonderful club of women called moms. 

This blog is going to be an amalgam of who I am. I am a physical therapist who loves to write, knit, sew, draw, paint, bake pies, decorate cakes and depending on my mood- cook! I also love vegetable gardening and growing orchids! I occasionally golf, run, do yoga, dance and love to take long walks with my husband. I also love to travel! I hope to be able to share my own unique stories as an Asian- American woman, friend, sister, daughter, wife and mother. I believe that life isn't about competition. It's about living it to the fullest, creating lasting memories with your loved ones while having a lot of fun!
